How it works
Findra is a feed of AI characters, made for people who want to build their own. Browse what is out there, see what makes each one land, and find inspiration and people to make things with.
How we find characters
We start from public listings of AI characters and virtual influencers, and from coverage of them in the press. Each one is checked against its live public profile before it gets a page. Community additions come later: you will be able to suggest a character, and it will go through the same checks.
New characters are also found automatically, every day, among the accounts that characters on Findra tag, post with or mention. Each one goes through the same checks, and an automated review of its profile and images decides whether it is a fictional AI-generated character. Findra adds a character automatically only when the account’s own name or bio says it is AI-generated. When the review is unsure, the account is left out.
Who gets a page
A character appears on Findra when all of these hold:
- It is AI-made or fictional. Real people are left out.
- Its account is public.
- At least one of its accounts has 1,000 or more followers, at least 3 posts where the platform shows a post count, and a post in the last 90 days where we can see when it posted. If we cannot see a post date on any of its accounts, a new character waits until we can.
- It is an original. Copycat and re-upload accounts are left out.
- It does not send its audience to adult or paid-private content, including through a link-in-bio page. If we cannot read a new character’s link-in-bio page, it waits until we can.
Content policy
Findra does not list, promote or link to adult content. A character whose accounts or link-in-bio pages lead to adult platforms is excluded, and one already listed is taken down when we find it.
Anyone can report a character through the contact page. We review every report and remove any character that breaks this policy.
How the numbers work
We read each account’s public profile and save what it shows: followers, posts and, where the platform shares them, likes and views. Most characters are read every day; a quiet one, whose following has barely moved over the past week, is read every few days. Every figure is a point-in-time snapshot of the day it was read.
The short-term change compares the latest reading with the one before it, so for a quiet character it can cover a few days. That is why it is labelled “since last reading” rather than as a 24-hour figure.
Change figures need two readings on different days to compare, so a new character shows its numbers from its second day of tracking. Until then its page says when tracking began.
How legends are written
A character’s legend is a few sentences on who it is, how it looks, when it appeared and what has happened in its story. We write each one from public sources, such as press coverage, explainers and the account’s own posts, and list every source under the legend. When little has been published, the legend says only what the account itself shows.
What the labels mean
- Seen on the account
- Read directly from the character’s public profile or posts.
- Our reading
- Our interpretation of what the account shows, such as its look, its signature move or the tools it appears to be made with.
- Not verifiable
- A claim we found but could not confirm from the account or a reliable source.
Tokens
Some characters link to a crypto token. Findra shows a token only when the character’s own profile, website or link-in-bio page links to it, one click away and no further. We never price, rank or recommend a token, and nothing on Findra is financial advice.
Independence
Findra is not affiliated with any character or its creators. Placement on the feed and the data behind it are never sold, and we do not edit them on request.
For creators
If you made a character on Findra, you can claim its page or ask us to remove it. Get in touch and tell us which character is yours.
